Poster Printing Reservation

After careful consideration of our limited local resources in the context of other viable outside options, we are retiring the in-house poster printing service in the Phoenix Cluster by 07JAN2022 and directing users to the below options for poster printing.  The good news is that UCD Reprographics provides a very similar service with similar rates and turnaround time (they also have on-campus delivery and pickup options).   I recommend you use Reprographics for poster printing, but you are free to use one of many available outside vendors and then request reimbursement from an appropriate account.

HOW TO SUBMIT PRINT JOB - 2-3 business days before you need your poster use this online form to upload your pdf file for printing (be prepared to include a UCD recharge number). If you need a quick turn-around, you should call the above number to coordinate a rush job.

SERVICE TURNAROUND TIME – Generally, Reprographics asks that you submit your job 2-3 business days before you need it and they can work with rush jobs.  Once you submit your poster online with your recharge number they will contact you when it is ready.  You can either pick up your poster at 176 Hoagland Hall during their business hours or they can deliver to your campus location. They deliver mornings and afternoons during normal (non-pandemic) operations.

PRICING:

  • 42 x 56 = $51.14 heavy bond (matte, uncoated) paper  - this is the most common for scientific posters
  • 42 x 56  $82.83 fabric
  • 36 x 48 = $45.09  heavy bond (matte, uncoated) paper  - this is the most common for scientific posters

OUTSIDE VENDOR (ONLINE OR NEARBY)

There are many online and nearby vendors who will print scientific posters.  To use such a service you would then be able to request reimbursement on an appropriate UCD account allowing for payment for printing posters.  If you do not know if you have a UCD account # to request reimbursement from or do not know how to request reimbursement, please discuss with your supervisor, faculty you report to, and/or your account manager.  Some outside vendors you may want to consider are below.
