Adobe Software Ordering Instructions

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, used to view, edit, and create PDF files, is provided by CAES. This application is accessible by opening up the program and logging in with your Kerberos credentials (please choose “Work or School Account” when prompted). If you need access to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and it is not already installed on your workstation or you are unable to log in with your Kerberos credentials, please contact IT Support by emailing itsupport@ucdavis.edu.

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop can be ordered as a standalone application.  Please email itsupport@ucdavis.edu for a quote. Once the software has been ordered, you will receive a notification from Adobe to set up your password. Please note that while this account will use your UC Davis email address, it is not the same as your Kerberos credentials and you will need to set up and remember a different password for this access. Also, please note that when logging in to access Adobe Photoshop, you will need to select “Personal Account” when prompted.

Unfortunately, at this time, there is no integration between the personal accounts and the UC Davis accounts, so if you have one of the standalone applications (like Photoshop) and the CAES provided Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, you will have to sign out of one account and into the other to access the associated application.

Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe has many other standalone and bundled software programs. If you need one of these programs, or the whole Creative Cloud bundle, please email itsupport@ucdavis.edu for a quote.
