Responsible for:

Phoenix Systems Support:

•    General Computing Consultation, Installation, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting for University-owned Assets (e.g., desktop/laptop/mobile devices)
•    General Computing Security Evaluations of Assets, Software, and Systems
•    Computing & Software License Quotes, Recommendations, and Renewals Assistance
•    Vendor Risk Assessments (VRA) Facilitation
•    Management of Client-side Back-up Solutions for Institutional Information
•    Technical Liaison with Campus IET
•    Assist in obtaining access to shared CAES-FARM HPC or ENTNEM High Performance Computer Cluster

Instructional Support:

•    Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Departmental Classrooms and Conference Rooms
•    Assistance and Recording for Departmental Seminar Series
•    Technical Assistance for Scheduled Events
•    Consultation on Campus Instructional Resource

Authorized Telecommunications Representative (ATR):

•    Local Network Administration and Changes
•    Cellular and Data Port Service Changes
•    Consultation and Troubleshooting of Voice Services (VOIP and Cellular)

Web:   

•    Update Content of Departmental and Administrative Cluster Websites
•    Provide Web Consultation for Faculty and Lab Websites

Research & Systems Administration: 

•    Computing Infrastructure Consultation
•    High Performance Computer Consultation
•    Ensure Campus Computer Security Compliance (IS-3)
•    Manage Departmental Firewall and Servers, including Local Backup Solutions
•    Backup, Develop, Manage and Secure Administrative Departmental and Cluster Databases, Web Applications, and Web Servers
•    Generate IT Business Reports
•    Provide Third-Tier Hardware and Software Technical Support
